A major player in Media & Advertising market from France looks for a skilled Big Data Engineering Tech Lead whose insights could influence more than 105k users!

The Role

You will be responsible for : 

1. Participating in decision making in regard to ETL jobs development, deployment, scaling, and maintenance of the product
2. Participating in the product backlog refinement
3. Writing code and performing data analysis
4. Mentoring and training teammates
5. Collaboration with stakeholders and architects

Candidate Profile

This offer is perfect for you if you have strong experience with Python, Hadoop/Spark, and Scala/Java. and are now looking to further expand your knowledge of those technologies. Additionally, if you enjoy working remotely and are seeking employment with an expending and established Western European company, don’t hesisate to apply! Docker, and K8S. Ph.D. and experience with Pandas, EDA, MLOps, Agile, Ruby, and C++ would be a huge plus.

Desirable Skills And Experience

1. 5+ years of experience in Python, Hadoop/Spark, Airflow, Scala/Java
2. GCP Professional Data Engineer certification
3. Solid understanding of DBMS internals
4. Substantial experience in Docker and K8S
5. Experience with Linux and Bash
6. Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Analysis, Engineering, or equivalent
7. Good English skills (B2)
